Freeriding, terrain parks and pistes
in Arapahoe Basin

Freeriding at A-Basin is among the best anywhere in Colorado for intermediate and expert-level riders.  With a summit elevation of 13, 050 feet, you are sure to get in some sick runs and amazing views.  Although the resort itself is small in comparison to other Colorado powerhouse resorts, A-Basin fulfills every riders' fantasy of frequent powder dumps, tree runs, natural jumps/jibs, crazy off-piste runs, and challenges that'll knock you on your behind.  Beginners can also experience this fantasy with easier runs off of the Exhibition Lift.

A-Basin has recently introduced a new park called the lower Mutha' Hucker (in addition to the upper Mutha' Hucker).  These parks combined make the highest terrain park in North America, and promise to push riders to new levels with a great lineup of jumps, rails, tables, spines, etc.  With the extended season that this resort offers, you can be practicing your jibs long into the summer months (usual seasons don't end until July 4th!).   READ NEXT: Village life, accommodation & nightlife
